Overview
Renesas Electronics is looking for an Engineering Technician to fill a position in the Palm Bay Reliability Stress Lab supporting operations in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail oriented with excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. This position offers a variety of opportunities to work for a leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance semiconductor products.
Responsibilities- Support new products, processes, and package qualification operations in the Palm Bay Reliability Stress Lab.
- Perform daily Lab activities including loading and unloading qualification hardware and samples. Attention to detail is a key focus.
- Schedule stress down point testing and ensure accurate and timely ATE and database records.
- Support Product Quality Engineers in coordinating and assisting with stress lab sample submission, database entry, and the overall qualification process.
- Willingness to work with the Reliability Stress Lab staff to learn and become proficient at all aspects of REL.
- Participate in all aspects of Reliability Stress Lab operations including SMT reflow (profiling and operating), CSAM, Xray, wire pull, sample de-encapsulation, board preparation, check, and repair.
- Focus on a zero Lab induced failure mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced Lab environment

This position is 100% on site in Palm Bay, FL.
