PCB Design Engineer

Job Summary

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a PCB Design Engineer for a full‑time contract position that may transition to direct hire. The position is located in Palm Bay, FL (onsite).

• Perform PCB design and layout for space‑based applications, avionics systems, and verification testing.
• Design PCB assemblies used in missions across multiple domains.
• Collaborate with layout designers, electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to produce high‑quality designs for various programs.
• Use Siemens Xpedition CAD software to design printed circuit boards.
• Produce and release layout files with fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Interpret schematic and mechanical CAD data and layout PCBs according to customer requests.
• Collaborate with the ECAD design team and internal engineering customers.
• Work with mechanical design engineers to ensure mechanical accuracy.
• Ensure PCB layout accuracy and compliance with IPC Class 3 standards and company design guidelines.

• Valor NPI experience
• Blueprints experience
• Cadence Allegro CAD knowledge
• Altium and/or PADS experience

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience creating PCB layouts using ECAD tools.
• Knowledge of PCB design technologies for military, airborne, and space applications, including layout techniques and electrical schematics.

$55‑$70 per hour.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W‑2 basis.
