Position OverviewSenior Vulnerability Researcher / Reverse Engineer – responsible for emulation, reverse engineering, vulnerability research and CNO/CNE tool development across multiple operating systems. The role supports a wide range of targets, from major consumer devices to proprietary systems, and delivers real‑world solutions with short turnaround.
Responsibilities- Analyze source code to identify and document vulnerabilities in C/C++ applications.
- Conduct reverse engineering and emulation to uncover hidden behaviors and weaknesses.
- Lead vulnerability research efforts and develop tooling enhancements for classified and unclassified software.
- Collaborate in small teams with clients to accelerate capability development and resolve issues.
- Maintain and update existing reverse‑engineering tools and workflows.
- Expert knowledge of C/C++ programming.
- Practical experience in project execution and software tool development.
- Deep understanding of low‑level programming concepts including stack frames, calling conventions, and memory management.
- Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP stacks and routing protocols.
- Experience with source control management tools.
- Proficiency in assembly language (x86/64, ARM, PPC, MIPS).
- TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
- Python programming.
- Full system emulation for research and analysis.
- Reverse engineering proficiency with IDA, Ghidra or Binary Ninja.
- Knowledge of wireless and BGP routing protocols.
- Experience reversing Linux or other operating systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum five years of related experience, or an advanced degree with three years of related experience.
