More Than a Driving Job!
We're looking for a dependable, hands-on, and service-oriented Home Medical Equipment Technician and Driver to support patients receiving care in their homes throughout Florida's Space Coast.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road, working with equipment, staying organized, and helping others. You'll play an important role in ensuring medical equipment is delivered safely, maintained properly, and ready when patients need it—while providing the professional, courteous, and responsive service patients and families deserve.
What You'll Do- Safely deliver and retrieve dialysis machines, medical equipment, and supplies to and from patient homes
- Load, unload, transport, and properly secure equipment using a company-provided vehicle
- Clean, inspect, and perform basic equipment maintenance and readiness checks
- Assist with basic equipment troubleshooting and coordinate service or repairs when needed
- Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and supplies
- Track equipment, deliveries, pickups, and service needs
- Keep equipment, storage areas, and the company vehicle clean, organized, and ready for use
- Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with patients and their families
- Travel throughout the Space Coast and occasionally support other Florida markets as needed
- Assist with other equipment, inventory, and operational needs as assigned
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving, delivery, courier, field service, logistics, or similar experience
- Valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable under the organization's automobile insurance requirements
- Previous experience regularly handling, loading, unloading, or transporting equipment or materials weighing 50+ lbs.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
- Patient-centered and service-oriented, with a genuine desire to help others
- Professional, courteous, and respectful when interacting with patients, families, coworkers, and healthcare professionals
- Dependable, trustworthy, and comfortable working independently
- Proactive and solutions-oriented, with good judgment when unexpected situations arise
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable learning to work with medical equipment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with medical equipment, DME, dialysis equipment, delivery, field service, warehouse operations, inventory, or equipment maintenance is a plus—but dialysis experience is not required.
If you enjoy being on the road, working with your hands, and helping people, this role offers more than a typical driving or delivery position. You'll combine driving, equipment handling, inventory, and basic technical work while directly supporting patients who depend on having the right equipment available in their homes.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in providing exceptional service—someone who is dependable, professional, compassionate, and naturally looks for ways to help. If you're hands-on, solutions-oriented, communicate well, and are the kind of person who goes the extra mile when someone needs assistance, we'd like to hear from you.
