Role
Supportpheresis center operations by preparing and monitoring donor equipment and processes during platelet or plasma collection.
Responsibilities- set up autopheresis machines
- monitor donors and respond to alarms or adverse reactions
- disconnect donors post-procedure
- document incidents and process data accurately in electronic systems
- and maintain a clean, safe work environment per HSE/OSHA standards
include ensuring supplies are available, supporting other areas as needed, and maintaining donor confidentiality.
Requirements- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 months’ healthcare or related experience
- basic math skills
- and ability to follow instructions
- bilingual ability
- cross-training to support team flexibility
involves blood component collection processes (pheresis), in a fast-paced environment with exposure to blood borne pathogens, hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and physical demands including lifting up to 25 pounds and extended standing or walking.
Work setupprimarily on-site with potential overtime and extended hours to meet operational needs.
