Job DescriptionThe Program Security Administrator is responsible for performing personnel security clearance coordination and processing activities. They will be responsible for the overall execution of SAP PERSEC tasks.
Essential Functions- Review and verify personnel security clearances and SAP accesses through queries to government security databases and systems
- Prepare and maintain continuity books and procedures for multiple security functions
- Conduct SAP nomination process (SAPNP) and Personnel Security Questionnaire (PSQ) reviews of candidates being submitted for SAP access
- Generate Program Access Request (PAR) packages; ensure all required information is included including currency of information, completeness of forms, and inclusion of required signatures. Generate Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA), provide briefer/debriefer, and/or execute briefs/debriefs
- Utilize personnel security databases that are used by both the DoD and IC (i.e. DISS, JADE, Scattered Castles)
- Manage and generate reports from internal personnel security databases (i.e. SIMS)
- Generate/maintain monthly personnel security metrics charts
- Maintain security documentation and files in accordance with applicable requirements
- Responsible for providing SAP PERSEC training to peers
- Occasionally assist with classified courier/visitor escorting and document destruction duties
- Assist Program Security Officers with generating and presenting program security related material as needed
- Communicate with Government agencies on a continuous basis to obtain approvals and maintain compliance with applicable regulations
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post‑Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Experience as a Cleared Defense Contractor (CDC) working in corporate and/or government environments with industrial security duties in support of Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) programs
- Proficient with JADE, SIMS, DISS and additional Personnel Security tools
- Working knowledge of the Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), SAP Directives, and Supplement Information system security experience desired
