Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Graduate degree with 13+ years of relevant experience (or)
  • 20+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance (Required)
  • Minimum of 5+ years of business development experience within defense, aerospace, or national security sectors
  • Demonstrated success leading large‑scale growth initiatives and managing complex, high‑value capture efforts
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding significant revenue/order targets (e.g., $500M–$1B+)
  • Extensive experience working with Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), and/or federal civilian agencies
  • Strong network of government and industry contacts within Intel, Cyber, and Special Operations communities
  • Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes, contract vehicles, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Experience leading and developing high‑performing business development and sales teams
  • Ability to travel frequently to support customer engagement, industry events, and mission priorities
  • Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic expansion across the Intelligence & Cyber sector within aerospace, aviation, and defense markets.
  • Report directly to the Sector President, leading the development and execution of growth strategies, cultivating high‑value relationships across the Intelligence Community and federal agencies, and advancing priority pursuits aligned with critical national security missions.
  • Own the sector’s business development pipeline, achieving and exceeding annual order targets exceeding $1B.
  • Serve as a key voice for the customer, shaping future capabilities and solutions while partnering cross‑functionally with capture, proposal, operations, and technical teams to deliver winning outcomes.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing team of business development and sales professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
