Secret Test Technician

Contract: 12 months – potential extension or conversion

Clearance: Secret

Hourly Pay: $35- $38.00/hr

Test Engineering Technician who will support the manual and automated testing of space hardware. Testing may be performed at the circuit card, assembly, sub-system and/or space vehicle level. Experience handling sensitive hardware, very strong computer skills and the ability to strictly adhere to documented procedures is a must. Prior experience with digital technology is a must.

• Transport test equipment, fixtures, and cables to required testing locations.
• Setup tests per written documentation and engineering direction.
• Verify all test equipment is in calibration.
• Verify all licensed test software is not expired.
• Assemble custom or COTS equipment/fixtures.
• Performs test and records required information.
• Document failures and reports any anomalies to key stakeholders.
• Executing automated software using LabVIEW and/or Test Stand GUIs.
• Troubleshooting failed assemblies with engineering oversight.
• Operate Digital test equipment including network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, noise figure analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs and power supplies.
