Electronics Test Technician

Renesas Palm Bay Operations team is looking for a Burn‑in Technician. In this position, the successful candidate will perform a variety of manufacturing duties, i.e., use measurement equipment to perform functionality testing of burn‑in boards and test sockets, load test units onto burn‑in boards, load and unload board ovens, data logging and material handling.

Candidate will need to read schematics, debug and complete minor repairs on burn‑in boards. Candidate must be knowledgeable on electronic measurements such as voltage, current, capacitance and be able to use equipment such as a VOM meter, oscilloscope and power supplies.

Candidate will be required to work in a clean room environment, wearing clean‑room garments and a ground strap. Candidates with previous manufacturing experience and multi‑tasking skills are a plus.

This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret written instructions. Once trained, the candidate will be required to work independently and meet quality and productivity expectations. The schedule is a five‑day work week, Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM‑3:15 PM. Majority of the work time requires standing.

• 2‑year technical school degree, or equivalent work experience
• Basic Windows PC and Office skills, especially Microsoft Outlook, Access, and Excel
• Experience working with work teams

This is an ITAR role – the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. person.
