LPN Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in Brevard County. The ideal candidate is committed to providing high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

• Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN or physician.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and vital signs.
• Perform rapid tests like COVID, FLU, STREP, Urine pregnancy, etc.
• Draw blood.
• Start IV access.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Team Player.
• EMR Tebra proficiency.
• Basic insurance verification and collecting co-pays.
• Prior authorizations and referrals.
• Triaging calls.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.

• Current Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous clinical or long-term care experience preferred but not required.
