Direct Sales Agent Specialist
The Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance is an Allstate Business) drives profitable growth by selling insurance and ancillary products to walk‑in customers, calling and visiting community contacts, and building a book of business. The role is responsible for attracting new customers, cross‑selling to existing customers, and maintaining strong relationships with community partners such as car dealerships, local events, and community organizations.
Responsibilities- Drive new business sales and meet or exceed sales goals through new product sales and cross‑sell/retention of customers.
- Leverage community contacts and maintain a physical presence in the local market to build a sales pipeline.
- Initiate outbound calling to an established target customer base for product offerings.
- Monitor local competitors and suggest initiatives to improve the company’s marketplace position.
- Work with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve production and growth goals.
- Deliver optimal results within metrics including quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance, while complying with all rules and procedures.
- Understand, promote, and remain current on company underwriting guidelines, policy changes, and procedures.
- Receive customer payments, issue receipts, and verify cash drawer reports.
- Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products.
- Leverages community contacts to continuously build a sales pipeline.
- Maintains an active physical presence in the community.
- Initiates outbound calling to target customer base.
- Monitors competitors and proposes improvement initiatives.
- Collaborates with leadership on marketing and sales execution.
- Delivers results within metrics and complies with standards.
- 0–2 years of experience in sales or related field.
- P&C licensing (preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.
- Base hourly rate of $20.00 per hour.
- Potential incentive pay including commissions and bonuses based on individual and team performance.

- Ability to sell a multitude of industry‑leading products through retail stores and phone.
