Harris is seeking a Security Support team member to join the Security Operations team located in Palm Bay, Florida. This role is critical to maintaining secure, efficient, and compliant visitor and badging operations through the processing and approval of visitor requests, issuance of employee and contractor credentials, and coordination of site access requirements.
Essential Functions:
* Process and approve visitor requests in accordance with company policies and security requirements, including unclassified visits, classified visits, foreign visitor requests, and long-term visitor access across multiple Brevard County sites.
* Coordinate and execute employee, contractor, and visitor badging activities, including identity verification, credential issuance, badge renewals, replacements, and access validation.
* Support employee onboarding activities through badge creation and access coordination for new hires and applicable personnel changes.
* Conduct visitor pre-screening and access reviews to ensure visitors meet all security, compliance, and site entry requirements prior to arrival.
* Serve as a centralized resource for Visitor Control operations by providing guidance and support to staffed lobbies and maintaining continuity of operations during staffing shortages or increased operational demand.
* Maintain visitor management and badging records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing within applicable systems and databases.
* Support event, conference, and special visitor coordination activities for internal and external customers, including large-scale visitor processing and on-site support.
* Perform administrative tasks associated with visitor and access control, document management, procedure updates, continuity documentation, reporting, and security-related communications.
* Prepare, maintain, and continuously improve standard operating procedures, and process documentation supporting Visitor Control functions.
* Assist with security inspections, audits, investigations, and data requests related to visitor management and access control activities as required.
* Perform cross-functional coverage of staffed lobby operations as needed to maintain uninterrupted visitor processing and customer support.
* Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance is required
Qualifications:
* Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
* Experience with Microsoft office suite and data entry software Preferred Additional

* Experience working in DoD Collateral security environments
* Experience working with a visitor management system
