As a Security Officer Access Screening Clearance Required in Palm Bay, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will help monitor access points, verify credentials, and support security‑related protocols for personnel and visitors.

In this Access Control role, you may conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Part Time

$19.53 / Hour

Day Time - Thursday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Friday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Sunday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with post procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access issues, and/or security-related concerns.
• Support daily operations by maintaining accurate logs, reporting maintenance or access control issues, and communicating clearly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
