The City of Palm Bay is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform skilled mechanical work on a variety of heavy equipment. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a valid Florida Driver's License. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, major repairs, and equipment diagnostics.
Applicants must also be able to obtain a Florida Class 'B' CDL within 12 months of hiring, and a full complement of hand tools is required. The position includes working in emergency situations as deemed necessary.
