Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone Orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes, and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

* Summary:

** The Power Tools Electrical Engineering Manager is a technical and people leader responsible for the electrical architecture, development, and delivery of next‑generation power tools. This role sits within Power Tools R&D and combines hands-on electrical engineering leadership with strategic ownership of system‑level hardware architecture, driving products from early feasibility through regulatory approval and production release. The manager leads a multidisciplinary electrical engineering team accountable for Power Tools electronics, batteries, chargers, and control hardware.

The role requires close collaboration with mechanical, software, systems, quality, clinical, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust, safe, and compliant powered solutions.

** You will:*
* + Lead the full lifecycle development of electrical hardware subsystems for Power Tool platforms, from early concept and prototyping through verification, release, and post‑market support.

+ Own, define, and evolve the electrical system architecture for Power Tool platforms, including motor controllers, power distribution, and safety circuits.
