Finance Manager
Carrier is a leading global provider of innovative HVAC, refrigeration, fire, security and building automation technologies leading to safer, smarter, sustainable and high-performance buildings. The CCS and Rentals finance team is seeking a Finance Manager, to support Field service business for P&L and other key financial metrics. This position will be responsible for regional P&L of 200 million and growing 10%+ per year.
This is a hybrid position that requires three days in the office and two days remote per week.
Key Responsibilities- Report financial performance for a segment of the Field service business across key business metrics and provide clear insight into variances, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and present quarterly forecasts, including variance analysis against prior forecast, prior year, and plan, with clear commentary on key drivers and forecast risks and opportunities.
- Analyze performance trends across orders, backlog, sales, margin, and expenses to support business decision-making and improve visibility to financial outcomes.
- Drive financial results of the business through business partnering with Sales, Operations, Area managers and other.
- Serve as a finance subject matter expert and trusted business partner to leadership by providing financial guidance, analysis, and recommendations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and enhance reporting effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A
- Master's degree preferred (MBA or equivalent)
- P&L owner experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excel/PowerPoint proficiency and ideally experience with HFM, SAP, S4 Hana Power BI, Hyperion, or other reporting/planning tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present recommendations effectively and drive actionable results in the organization
- Ability to quickly grasp new business models & changes and adapt to evolving industry dynamics.
The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $ annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other CompensationThis position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
