Finance Analyst

The Otis Americas Finance organization is seeking an individual to support Otis Americas regional and functional teams by providing insightful analysis of the key metrics and financial results. You will be an integral part of the Otis Americas Finance team, and you will also interface directly with the business operations, sub-regional and regional finance teams.
Responsibilities- Support the monthly forecast and financial planning process for functional departments, including analysis of operating expenses, headcount, and overhead spending performance.
- Partner with department leaders to understand monthly results, identify key cost drivers, and investigate significant variances, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze personnel-related costs, including headcount movements, hiring plans, vacancies, attrition, and compensation-related impacts.
- Maintain and enhance forecasting, reporting, and analytical tools to improve visibility into departmental spending and resource utilization. Track forecast accuracy and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Develop financial and operational analytics to support workforce planning, productivity initiatives, and cost optimization efforts.
- Provide training and guidance to functional leaders and business partners on financial planning processes, headcount management, and expense governance.
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly business review materials, highlighting key expense, headcount, and productivity insights.
- Participate in the annual operating plan and strategic planning process for functional organizations, providing objective financial analysis and decision support.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to spending, productivity, workforce efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
- Partner closely with Human Resources, Accounting, FP&A, and other functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans, headcount forecasts, and business priorities.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting related to overhead spending and workforce management.
- Support leadership decision-making by providing actionable insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations regarding departmental investments, resource allocation, and cost management.
- Must have strong communication skills with analytical skills as well as the ability to work in a high-performance, collaborative team environment
- Experience in financial analysis, for both P&L and balance sheet, is preferred
- Finance experience within Otis preferred
- Must be comfortable navigating Microsoft Suite, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and JDE
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related business degree.
Location / Work Arrangement:
There is an opportunity for the position to be hybrid (office and remote). The successful candidate must be able to travel/commute to an office, as needed.
The salary range for this role is $80,000-$90,000. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
