Position OverviewThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of major IT initiatives, focusing on Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project success from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects centered on platform modernization
- Drive migration strategies and governance implementation
- Define project scope, schedules, resource plans, budgets, and success criteria
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and executive-level reporting
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party deliverables
- Coordinate with support teams to balance workloads
- Ensure compliance with security and governance requirements
- Lead post-project reviews and contribute to improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- 7 years of IT project management experience
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Strong proficiency with project management platforms like Jira or Service Now
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a matrixed organization
- Experience in the energy, utilities, or regulated industry sector
- Familiarity with Exchange Online and SharePoint migrations
- Agile/Scrum or SAFe certification
- Experience managing offshore delivery teams
