The Category Specialist is the regional execution arm for Mods & Upgrade procurement - turning category strategy into on-the-ground sourcing, purchase-order execution and clean supplier data, so that Mods projects receive the right 3rd-party equipment and parts on time and at target cost. The role reports to the Associate Director, Mods & Upgrade Procurement and partners closely with the Category Manager, Parts Supply, PDM and the factories.

* Role Responsibilities:

* + Run sourcing events and RFQs in-region for assigned MAU categories - pumps, cooling towers, fans, valves, controls/BMS, electrical and balance-of-plant.

+ Actively manage supplierleadtimes to hit project schedules and golden slots.

+ Maintain supplier master and PFEP (Plan-For-Every-Part) data for assigned categories.

+ Procure Carrier-designed (OEM-common) parts and 3rd-party parts to BOM and AVL.

+ Support should-cost analysis with regional market inputs and surface savings opportunities.

+ Resolve supply escalations on long-lead / engineer-to-order (ETO) parts in partnership with Parts Supply.

+ Maintain data accuracy in SAP,Kette Qand SFDC; support OTIF and demand-accuracy reporting.

** Minimum Requirements*
* + Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering,or Business

+ 5+years in procurement, sourcing,buying,or materials planning.

+ 5+years' experience

Hands-on purchase-order execution, RFQ management and supplier coordination.

+ 5+years' experienceERPproficiency(SAP); familiarity with planning tools (KetteQ/ Kinaxis); strong Excel.

Experience with PFEP, should-cost, and AVL / BOM data; regional sourcing across CLT / SYR / MX.

+ Lean / Six Sigma exposure;
Spanish language a plus for MX supplier coordination.

+ Excellent organization,follow-through and supplier communication.
