Document Control Associate
The Document Control Associate maintains accurate and organized quality documentation by scanning, indexing, and managing records in quality systems. This role ensures that all documents for serviced or repaired items are properly captured, stored, and accessible to support quality and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Scan and organize quality documents related to items that are being serviced or repaired.
- Upload and index scanned documents into Windchill, ensuring accurate classification and version control.
- Enter data into the quality management system and other databases with a high level of accuracy.
- Verify that all required documentation is complete, legible, and properly linked to the correct records.
- Maintain orderly electronic document files to support easy retrieval and audits.
- Follow established procedures for document control and quality documentation handling.
- Collaborate with quality and service teams to resolve documentation issues or discrepancies.
- Support continuous improvement of document control processes by identifying and reporting opportunities for efficiency and accuracy.
Essential Skills
- Experience with document control processes in a quality-focused environment.
- Knowledge of FDA-related documentation or regulated quality environments.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to scan, organize, and manage large volumes of documents accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy when entering information into quality management systems and databases.
- Ability to follow established procedures and maintain compliance with documentation standards.
Job Type & Location
This is a contract position based out of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
