Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalation protocols;
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, equipment areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions;
Control access to designated areas by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or authorization when required, and directing visitors to appropriate contacts;
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate security-related concerns to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership
