Maintenance Mechanic
Assumes responsibility and accountability for hospital mechanical, plumbing, and electrical equipment. The Maintenance Mechanic performs preventative maintenance and needed repairs or upgrades on all hospital mechanical equipment in accordance with national and local codes, facility guidelines and manufacturers' recommendations. Assures that all equipment operates within the established limits set by the manufacturers of the equipment. Must be willing to cross-train and assist in other trade areas to meet the needs of the facility.

Qualifications
- Education Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. - Experience:
2 - 3 years experience in building maintenance field. Previous experience in hospital environment preferred. - Skills:
Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with little supervision. Computer/keyboard skills required. Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and overtime. Ability to be in an on-call rotation.
