Advanced Practice Provider (APP) | Endocrinology | Palm Coast, FL
Advent Health is seeking a motivated Endocrinology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our growing, physician‑led Endocrinology practice in Palm Coast, FL. This opportunity enables you to work alongside Dr. Thota, a recently onboarded endocrinologist, to expand access and deliver high‑quality, compassionate endocrine care to a rapidly growing community.
Position Highlights- Outpatient Endocrinology APP role within an established, hospital‑employed practice.
- Work directly with one Endocrinologist and a dedicated support team (front desk, medical assistant, and additional clinical staff).
- Schedule:
- 4.5 clinic days per week
- 4 hours of weekly administrative time
- Patient volume: 15‑18 patients per clinic day.
- Call shared with the physician (details discussed during interviews).
- Dedicated office space in a modern clinic located on the Advent Health Palm Coast campus.
- Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrine care, including evaluation and management of diabetes, thyroid disease, bone health disorders, and other endocrine conditions.
- Interpret glucose data from continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices and manage multiple insulin delivery modalities, including insulin pumps.
- Assist with chronic disease management, medication adjustments, and ongoing treatment planning.
- Provide broad patient education related to endocrine conditions and lifestyle recommendations.
- Collaborate with the supervising endocrinologist, clinic staff, and multidisciplinary team to deliver mission‑focused, high‑quality care.
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with strong interest in Endocrinology.
- 0‑2 years of experience; new graduates encouraged to apply.
- Strong clinical background in critical care or medically focused specialties preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Mission‑aligned, team‑oriented, and committed to whole‑person, compassionate care.
- Additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Not eligible for J-1 visa sponsorship.
- Cohesive, mostly employed medical group with excellent collaboration across specialties.
- Strong onboarding, support systems, and mentorship—ideal for both experienced APPs and clinically strong new graduates.
- Live and work in a coastal community with easy access to beaches, outdoor recreation, and nearby Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Orlando.
