As an Early Childhood Education Assistant Teacher at Sunshine Academy, you’ll help care for little ones. You’ll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of each child.

• Assist in implementing lesson plans that are balanced and appropriate to developmental levels, utilizing a comprehensive and hands‑on curriculum
• Assist in documenting learning experiences through displays and pictures
• Maintain positive informal and formal communication with families on a daily basis
• Maintain a safe, comforting and stimulating environment for students
• Facilitate and maintain childcare licensing standards
• Friendly and desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast‑paced environment

• Must pass Level II Background Screening
• Strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels with speaking to parents
• Energetic, nurturing, positive, child‑friendly personality
• Shows initiative; strong work ethic
• Eagerness to learn
• Reliable and ready to make a difference

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Willing to learn and take online classes

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
