Your Role
As a Process Engineer (Fine Wire Applications) at Alleima Advanced Materials in Palm Coast, you will play a crucial role in developing, optimizing, and maintaining production processes for fine wire manufacturing.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for fine wire production, ensuring consistent product quality and process reliability.
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Analyze process data and production performance to identify root causes of deviations and define corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams to introduce new materials, products, and technologies.
- Establish and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, process parameters, and control plans.
- Support qualification and validation activities for new or modified equipment and processes.
- Drive efficiency improvements by reducing scrap, improving yield, and optimizing resource utilization.
You are a seeker of knowledge, a problem solver, and a dreamer grounded in the realities of science and technology. With a solid understanding of metallurgical and mechanical principles, including wire drawing, annealing, and surface treatment processes, you will ensure efficient, high quality, and cost effective operations that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Your proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with data analysis tools and ERP/MES systems will be crucial in driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting new product introductions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English will enable you to effectively collaborate across functions, while your strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement will ensure compliance with Alleima’s standards. With a hands on, practical approach and a problem solving mindset, you will provide technical training and guidance to production personnel, contributing to developing process knowledge across the organization.
Your minimum of 3–5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or production support roles, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
