Position: Process Engineer (Fine Wire Applications)

Role Overview

As a Process Engineer (Fine Wire Applications) at Alleima Advanced Materials in Palm Coast, you will play a crucial role in developing, optimizing, and maintaining production processes for fine wire manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for fine wire production, ensuring consistent product quality and process reliability.
  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Analyze process data and production performance to identify root causes of deviations and define corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams to introduce new materials, products, and technologies.
  • Establish and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, process parameters, and control plans.
  • Support qualification and validation activities for new or modified equipment and processes.
  • Drive efficiency improvements by reducing scrap, improving yield, and optimizing resource utilization.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or production support roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Solid understanding of metallurgical and mechanical principles, including wire drawing, annealing, and surface treatment processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with data analysis tools and ERP/MES systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Hands‑on practical approach and problem‑solving mindset to provide technical training and guidance to production personnel.
