Chemical Process Engineer (Full Time)

Alleima Business Unit Medical partners with leading OEMs to design, develop, and manufacture life‑changing medical solutions.

• Designing and optimizing coating processes and equipment configurations for fine wire products, considering product requirements, process capability, environmental impact, and economic performance.
• Testing, controlling, and optimizing coating solution chemistry to consistently produce high‑quality products that meet customer and internal quality standards.
• Developing, validating, and transferring new or improved coating processes and technologies from laboratory or pilot scale to full production.
• Ensuring new or modified equipment meets coating process requirements through pre‑build design qualification, commissioning, and post‑installation testing.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for existing coating equipment and chemical processes.
• Collecting and analyzing process and quality data to characterize current performance, identify root causes, and quantify improvement opportunities.
• Creating, reviewing, and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) to align with current standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Applying continuous improvement methodologies to improve process stability, reduce variation, and enhance safety and overall operational performance.

• Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Materials Engineering) is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, or 10+ years of experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Higher degrees and/or experience in fine wire, extrusion, coiling, or electroplating industry may substitute for some years of experience and/or education.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and prioritize them accordingly.
• Strong analytical, creative thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to interact with R&D, operations, marketing, sales, finance, and quality teams.
