Housekeeper; Part Time

The Experience Senior Living Team is comprised of dynamic professionals that are fueled by their passion to empower people as they grow older to live life to the fullest. They are creators, architects, nurses, researchers, programmers, marketers, facilitators, developers, investors, and caregivers, all focused on making a positive impact on the lives of residents, their families and team members.

• Clean public areas and residents’ apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture and common areas
• Perform all housekeeping duties:
  • Distribute laundered articles and linens
  • Replace and hang draperies
  • Change beds
  • Clean public restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
  • Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors; clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
  • Dust furniture and equipment
  • Polish metalwork
  • Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
• Perform all laundry duties:
  • Wash, dry, and iron resident laundry and community linens and textiles in provided appliances
  • Fold and/or hang laundry appropriately
  • Distribute laundered articles and linens
  • Replace and hang draperies and change beds
• Maintain resident laundry areas, including mopping floors and washing walls regularly
• Wash windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested
• Keep utility and storage rooms clean and orderly
• Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies
• Stock cleaning cart with supplies
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area
• Ensure trash and dumpster areas are clean in coordination with maintenance
• Complete maintenance work orders for any repairs needed
• Report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly
• Report potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance related issues promptly to Supervisor
• May perform other duties as assigned

• Connect and help residents transition from home to community through thoughtful engagement at every level of interaction
• Arrive to work on time
• Display minimal absenteeism and tardiness
• Maintain a neat, clean appearance according to dress code
• Observe safety and security procedures
• Use equipment and materials properly
• Be able to work varied schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Background Screening Requirement:
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background screening in accordance with Florida law and company policy.
