PositionSummary
As a Manufacturing Operator, you will use equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production process in a climate-controlled environment to create products and distribute them to customers.
Responsibilities- Set‑up and run manual, automatic and/or semiautomatic machines and related ancillary equipment in a production/processing operation.
- Follow production/process specifications or instructions to manufacture a product.
- Monitor speed, temperature, diameter measuring equipment, flow meters, gauges, valve position to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
- Perform in‑process quality checks for process and product characteristics using prescribed gauges, meters, microscopes and micrometers.
- Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
- Work in jobs of short, medium or long duration, requiring frequent change in set‑up and variation in cycle.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Dependability, can‑do attitude, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, work in a manufacturing environment, and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Starting rate: $18.00 per hour, with yearly merit increases.
- Shift: Monday‑Thursday 6am‑4pm (10‑hour shifts).
- Quarterly bonus.
