Position: Field Sales Representative (Central Florida)

Overview

The Field Sales Representative is responsible for acquiring new members and managing ongoing member relationships in Central Florida. The role focuses on Medicare products, leveraging community events and in‑home sales to build a book of business.

Responsibilities
  • Acquire new members through community events and referrals.
  • Assess customer needs, use probing questions, and demonstrate listening skills.
  • Service existing members, handle inquiries about product use, benefits, and utilization.
  • Cross‑sell ancillary products and additional offerings to existing members.
  • Retain existing members and achieve retention targets.
  • Maintain knowledge of CMS and state regulations.
  • Multi‑task and use computer efficiently while interacting via phone.
  • Record relevant information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Accountabilities
  • Meet sales goals, conversion and cross‑sell rates as per annual performance plan.
  • Contact prospective members within the time limits outlined in the performance plan.
  • Achieve member retention and satisfaction metrics.
  • Demonstrate expert understanding of company products, services, and processes.
Qualifications
  • 4‑year college degree or 1–2 years of consumer sales experience (Medicare sales experience preferred).
  • Bilingual:
    Spanish preferred.
  • Life & Health insurance license required within 60 days of start date.
  • Active computer use for daily activities.
  • Strong multitasking, communication and listening skills.
  • Self‑starter with positive attitude, adaptable to high‑pressure environment.
  • Drive to build, manage and grow a book of business.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Certifications (to be obtained annually)
  • American Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Continuing Education (CE) Product Certification.
  • Security and Compliance, Client/Carrier Certifications.
  • Required CMS Certifications.
Pay Range

Base salary ranges from $51,686.00 to $ annually, depending on experience, education and geography.
