Engineer Pool Technician

Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa is a premier destination within our portfolio, located along the Atlantic coastline. The resort boasts 285 rooms, 114,410 sq. ft. of meeting space, championship golf courses, and exceptional service.

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance person, highly motivated and detail‑oriented, to join our team as a Maintenance Engineer. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, HVAC, painting, wall repair, tile work, and managing the preventive maintenance program.

• Performs general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Performs general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Repairs plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Repairs woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and windows, carpeting, etc.
• Performs general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Keeps records as required by company policy and procedures, maintains logs on completed tasks, and submits reports in a timely manner.

• Experience in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of “household” repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Engaging and welcoming personality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.

$17.00/hr – $18.00/hr actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location.
