About Nivoda

Nivoda is a fast-growing B2B marketplace transforming the global diamond and gemstone industry. We connect thousands of suppliers and retailers across 100+ countries, processing over $300M in annual transactions, and we’re just getting started. The gemstone industry represents a $350 billion opportunity, and we’re building the infrastructure to unlock it. We are at an inflection point—scaling fast, hiring deliberately, and rethinking how we build.

We ship, learn, and iterate. We are looking for engineers who thrive in that rhythm.

Mission

The traditional diamond supply chain is opaque, slow, and inaccessible. Nivoda’s mission is to make the global gemstone market accessible to every business, regardless of size or location. We democratize access to inventory, pricing, and logistics so that a jeweler in Boston has the same power as a trading house in Antwerp. The code you write will be used by tens of thousands of buyers and suppliers every day.

Growth

Team

You’ll be joining the Growth pod—an high-priority, high-visibility squad that owns acquisition, conversion, retention, and monetization across the entire customer lifecycle. The pod operates like a startup inside Nivoda. We work closely with PM and designer, move fast, run experiments, and have real influence on how things get built. The pod also experiments with AI‑assisted engineering workflows and a culture where experimentation is the default.

Role:
Senior Full-Stack Engineer

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer on the Growth pod, you will own end‑to‑end implementation of features that directly impact revenue, conversion, and retention metrics. You will work across the stack—Type Script and Node.js on the backend, React on the frontend—and you’ll be expected to go wherever the problem takes you. You will shape what gets built, contribute to technical decisions, and lead how Nivoda uses AI in its engineering workflow.

What

You’ll Be Doing
  • Build and ship features across the full stack that directly grow revenue, conversion, and retention.
  • Design and implement the technical architecture for growth features, in‑app experiments, and lifecycle and monetization flows.
  • Identify and build growth loops—referral mechanics, pricing and packaging experiments, and features that compound usage on both sides of the marketplace.
  • Use AI coding tools as a first‑class part of your engineering workflow.
  • Contribute to how the team uses AI beyond your own workflow—sharing patterns, tools, and approaches.
  • Work closely with PM and designer in tight, fast feedback loops.
  • Run A/B experiments end‑to‑end: implement the test, instrument events, analyze results, and iterate.
  • Write clean, well‑tested code and raise concerns about technical debt.
  • Participate in architecture and technical design conversations.
  • Stay close to the latest in AI tooling, engineering practices, and developer productivity.
  • Mentor junior engineers and help build an engineering culture of speed and craft.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of full‑stack engineering experience with a track record of shipping production features in Type Script/Node.js and React or equivalent modern stack.
  • A genuine bias for action—building and learning, not deliberating and waiting.
  • Active, fluent use of AI coding tools throughout the day.
  • Strong instincts for technical trade‑offs in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Experience building and instrumenting A/B experiments, feature flags, or other data‑driven engineering patterns.
  • Comfort working close to the product, reading dashboards, and questioning metrics.
  • Clear, direct communication with PMs and engineers.
  • Based in or willing to commute to Boston regularly for in‑person collaboration.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in a growth engineering context—conversion optimization, retention, lifecycle tooling, or experimentation platforms.
  • Familiarity with building or integrating AI‑powered features in production.
  • Experience at a high‑growth marketplace or two‑sided platform.
  • Contributions to open source projects, technical writing, or public engineering work.
  • Exposure to modern data infrastructure and analytics tooling such as Snowflake, dbt, Mixpanel, Segment.
Culture and Benefits

Nivoda builds something genuinely new. We care about craft, speed, and impact. We have high expectations and high trust. If you have ideas for how to do something better, try it. We’re investing in new ways of working, new tools, and new approaches.

Benefits include competitive salary, hybrid working in Boston, private health insurance, unlimited holiday allowance, a flexible compensation card, access to the latest AI tooling, opportunities for growth, and the chance to shape the next version of Nivoda.

Equal Opportunity

Nivoda is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. If this role excites you, apply.
