Summary

Technical Designer for RH Interior Design in Palm Desert responsible for advancing the studio's residential design practice and delivering luxury client experiences. The role supports all phases of design from concept through delivery, producing editorial presentations and advanced architectural schematics. The position requires collaboration with architects, trades, and RH teams and includes significant travel.

• Create brand-elevating interior design presentations and communicate design concepts, space plans, and product selections.
• Produce advanced architectural AutoCAD schematics and elevations and draft custom millwork and kitchen/bath details.
• Support all design phases including consultations, site visits, design development, presentations, and delivery coordination.
• Deliver specialized product knowledge and exceptional client service and maintain awareness of the local luxury market.
• Participate in domestic and international travel as required for projects and client meetings.

• 3+ years of interior design experience including architectural design and collaboration with architects and on-site trades.
• First-hand experience drafting custom millwork, custom kitchens, and bathrooms.
• Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Sketch Up, Mac OS, and Google/Microsoft applications preferred.
• NCIDQ certification and a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Valid passport for international travel, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel up to 50%; ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
