Depends On Qualifications

Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in engineering, planning, public or business administration, or a directly related field and five (5) years of experience in transportation and/or transit engineering and/or planning. Knowledge/background in transportation planning and land use planning are highly desirable. Analytical, organization and communication skills, as well as computer literacy (Microsoft Suites) in word processing, spreadsheets and transportation modeling are essential.

A valid registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of California is preferred, not required.
