The Coachella Valley Lakers are seeking a fun, outgoing, and enthusiastic in-game host to create an exciting experience for the 24 home games of the  season, running from November 2026 through March 2027, including playoffs. This position provides a great opportunity to interact with our fans while executing a balance of hype and knowledge within the operations of a professional basketball team.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $ 35.00 - $40.00. Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until December 11, 2026.

The Coachella Valley Lakers are the newest addition to the rapidly growing sports and entertainment landscape in the Coachella Valley. Formerly known as the South Bay Lakers, the team serves as the official NBA G League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers, one of the most iconic and successful franchises in global sports. Founded in 2006 as the Los Angeles D-Fenders, the organization has built a strong reputation for developing elite talent, supporting the NBA pipeline, and delivering a high level of competition within the G League.

Backed by the championship legacy and global brand of the Los Angeles Lakers, the Coachella Valley Lakers embody a culture rooted in excellence, innovation, and player development. This legacy, combined with Oak View Group’s success in launching Acrisure Arena and the Coachella Valley Firebirds in 2022, created a powerful foundation for continued growth. The Coachella Valley Lakers will be managed by OVG in a similar fashion to the Coachella Valley Firebirds.
