Personal Banker; Universal Service Representative): Palms

Overview

As a Universal Service Representative you are responsible for performing a wide variety of responsibilities related to all teller and USR I functions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, new accounts and loans. Balances daily transactions and verifies cash totals. If you enjoy helping people and have experience working in a financial institution, this job is for you!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, issuing cashier’s checks, etc.
• Open new memberships, all ownerships. Add/remove joint owners on existing memberships.
• Interview potential and existing members to determine appropriate products and services.
• Actively cross‑sell additional products and services to meet member needs.
• Originate and fund unsecured loans (credit card and personal loans/lines). Communicate loan decisions.
• Perform follow‑up calls to new and existing members to ensure satisfaction and answer any questions.
• Answer IRA questions and perform IRA contributions and distributions.
• Demonstrate knowledge in providing information and alternate delivery channels for member usage including: , online banking, eStatements, mobile deposits, bill pay, P2P, remote transfers, Express Line, etc.
• Serve as support to new Universal Service Representatives.
• Participate in end‑of‑day branch balancing process.
• Demonstrate ability to be flexible and prioritize workflow.
• Balance, fill, audit ATM/CDM/Recycler as needed.
• Maintain cash vault.
• Instantly issue debit cards.

Education and/or

Experience:

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One year financial institution experience in a teller or similar role with an emphasis on accurate cash handling.

Member‑facing positions at our branches may require standing. Adequate seating will be provided in reasonable proximity to the work area and may be used when it does not interfere with performance of duties.

Salary Range: $21.94/hr - $32.91/hr
