The Living Desert is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented Seasonal Catering Associates to support our catering and special events team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in dynamic environments, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and supporting events that align with our mission of desert conservation and education.

• Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of catered events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties.
• Prepare and serve food & beverages in accordance with event requirements and food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness & organization of catering areas, prep stations, service lines, and event spaces.
• Provide friendly and professional service to guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Support inventory management and restocking of catering supplies.
• Represent The Living Desert’s values and mission in all guest interactions.

• Previous experience in catering, banquet service, or food service preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 18 years or older.

• This is a seasonal position with variable hours based on event scheduling.
• Uniforms and training provided.
• Current Food Handlers Permit & RBS Certification is required.
