Counter Clerk

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Counter Clerk to join our team. This role is customer-facing and plays an important part in making sure garments are properly received, inspected, and processed before entering the cleaning cycle.

You’ll be the main point of contact for customers dropping off and picking up their clothing — so we’re looking for someone who’s personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing their responsibilities independently.

• Greet customers and accept garments for dry cleaning or laundry
• Inspect items for stains, damage, or special care instructions
• Tag and detail garments before processing
• Assist customers with pick-ups
• Handle payments and manage the cash drawer responsibly
• Answer questions and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Keep the front counter area organized and running smoothly

• Friendly and professional communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and self-manage
• Comfortable using a computer / POS system
• Reliable and organized
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus (not required)
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Ability to stand and move for most of your shift
• Ability to reach overhead garment rails
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly
