Sales Rep

Looking for someone local, outgoing, and comfortable talking to small business owners to help sell spots on Local Spotlight — a shared postcard mailer that goes out to about 5,000 homes at a time in the Coachella Valley (currently El Paseo and Sun City Palm Desert).

Here’s the pitch you’ll be making: each card fits up to 16 local businesses, one per industry, so no business ever competes with another on the same card. A spot is $300 and locks in that business as the only one in their category on that route. It’s an easy sell — real homes reached, real exclusivity, and a price small businesses can say yes to on the spot.

• Reaching out to local businesses in the Coachella Valley (in person, phone, or however you work best) and pitching a spot on the next card
• Explaining the offer and category exclusivity
• Closing the sale and handing off the details to us — we handle the billing, design, printing, and mailing.

• Someone local who knows the area and isn’t afraid to talk to business owners
• Self‑starter, can manage your own schedule
• Sales or local outreach experience is a plus, not required
• Pay: commission‑based, $50 per spot sold. 16 spots available on 2 postcards (32 spots x $50 = $1,600)
