Position Summary

The part‑time Building Security Officer Supervisor for Acrisure Arena will provide a safe environment by overseeing security operations at the venue. This role will supervise the execution of standard operating policies while delivering a high level of customer service.

This role pays an hourly rate of $27.00.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise security operations, including vulnerability mitigation, incident response, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate and implement safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all building security systems operate during event and non‑event periods (cameras, access control, physical security equipment, etc.).
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for client and employee security inquiries during events.
  • Collaborate with the Events department to provide guidance on security, police, fire, and medical needs.
  • Champion security awareness, influence compliance, and provide solutions to business‑specific security issues.
  • Develop comprehensive deployment models based on capacity and show genre.
  • Promote a sustainable security culture and address employee conduct and performance concerns.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and local, state, and federal authorities.
  • Balance enforcement of rules with guest safety and enjoyment to uphold the venue’s reputation.
  • Manage public relations by resolving guest, artist, client, and tenant security issues during events.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and supervision of facility security systems and programs.
  • Create comprehensive dot maps for staff placement, accessibility, and access control.
  • Communicate with client security personnel and coordinate tour needs.
  • Coordinate directly with emergency services and oversee medical and first‑aid facilities.
  • Supervise contracted security personnel for events.
  • Communicate with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as relevant.
  • Make immediate decisions and communicate with management, first responders, guests, employers, and performers during emergencies.
  • Adjust duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree from a two‑year college or combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of progressive security or law enforcement experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Experience in stadium, arena, or similar venue environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines.
  • Leadership, clear direction, and constructive feedback skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience managing teams with proven coaching, counseling, and supervising capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional certifications preferred:
    Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Sports Security Professional (CSSP), or similar advanced law enforcement certificates.
  • Adaptable and flexible in fast‑paced environments.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
