Hall Capital Holdings is a private family office which, at its core, acquires and holds founder‑led operating companies. In addition, we oversee a diversified portfolio spanning operating businesses, private equity, real estate, and public markets. Beyond investments, the office manages the full spectrum of the family's financial life — personal financial planning, treasury, tax coordination, and property oversight. Our culture is built on integrity, hard work, and hands‑on stewardship.
We move with the conviction of an owner, not the pace of a fund.
As our acquisition pipeline grows, we are adding a high‑impact generalist to our lean deal team. This is an opportunity to sit at the center of a highly active private investment office and contribute meaningfully across the entire spectrum of an M&A transaction. We are deliberately hands‑on. When we buy a company, we stay involved with its leadership — on strategy, on reporting, and on the operating problems that ultimately determine whether a deal was a good one.
TheOpportunity -
The right candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, multi‑process environment. You will work directly alongside the existing deal team to accelerate deal throughput, sharpen financial diligence, and bring operational discipline to an increasingly active M&A program.
This role is deliberately broad — because we are. On any given week you might be working alongside portfolio company leadership with an operational revamp, fielding calls and performing diligence on opportunities from investment banks in search of our next acquisition, or supporting month‑end close for an existing portfolio company. If you are energized by that variety, you will love it here.
Key Responsibilities - DEAL SOURCING & DILIGENCE:- Build relationships with investment bankers, brokers, and intermediaries, and over time help us develop proprietary sourcing
- Lead initial CIM review and prepare deal memo summaries for team members when needed
- Build and maintain acquisition models, financial forecasts, and capital allocation analyses across the portfolio
- Coordinate with QofE providers, legal counsel, and management teams throughout due diligence
- Keep active diligence processes on track — managing checklists, open items, and work streams across simultaneous deals
- Form an independent recommendation on every opportunity to discuss with other team members — talk the team out of a bad deal, and own the why we passed memo as seriously as the investment memo
- Support post‑acquisition integration, including the 100‑day plan and transition of key relationships
- Serve as a working partner to portfolio company leadership on budgets, growth initiatives, and solving operating problems
- Own portfolio‑level FP&A: budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, variance analysis, and monthly and quarterly reporting packages
- Work alongside the CFO with month‑end and year‑end close, ad hoc reporting, and coordination with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors
- Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline research, workflows, and transaction support
We are not filling a seat. As our family office grows towards our ambitious goals, the person in this role has a genuine path to participating in and leading acquisitions with our existing team. We would rather grow someone into that than hire around them.
