Manager in training

Role Description

The Manager in Training role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale Area. This role involves learning and supporting daily club operations, including managing schedules, overseeing fitness floor activity, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The individual will assist with member engagement, handle member inquiries, and support sales and retention efforts. The Manager in Training will shadow club leadership to learn supervisory practices, staff coaching, and performance management.

The role also includes supporting team training, implementing company policies and procedures, and contributing to a positive, high-energy club culture.

• Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and an interest in learning leadership and team management in a fitness club environment.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to interact effectively with members and team members.
• Candidates should possess Training & Development and Training skills, including the ability to support staff onboarding, coaching, and continuous improvement.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, with a focus on delivering an outstanding member experience and resolving issues professionally.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in fitness, hospitality, or retail; basic sales and membership knowledge; strong organizational and time-management abilities; and comfort working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in business, fitness management, or a related field is a plus.
