Activities Assistant

Salary Range: $18-$20 per hour.

Are you ready to contribute to a team, committed to excellent customer service and dedicated to each individual’s unique talent?

You will lead group and independent activities for the resident population. You will assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

This role requires enthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to work independently while fostering meaningful engagement with residents.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to independently plan, organize, and lead group activities
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to adapt activities to individual resident needs
• Creative background (arts, music, crafts, fitness, dance, etc.)
• Comfortable working with residents of diverse backgrounds, including those with behavioral needs and dementia
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated

• Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior programs
• Experience leading group activities or events
• Basic understanding of dementia care and person-centered programming
