Thompson Palm Springs is now recruiting for a Seasonal Bartender to join Lola Rose, Grand Mezze inside Thompson Palm Springs. Thompson Palm Springs is a desert destination with 168 bungalow-inspired guest rooms and suites, 8,000 square feet of event space, outdoor spaces, ground-level retail, a fitness center, and a tasting room from HALL Napa Valley, with additional tenants to follow. This is a great opportunity to start with Hyatt as a Seasonal Bartender.

• Provide libations and offer customized recommendations.
• Be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar.
• Engage in casual conversation, showcase creativity, and build on personal bartending experiences.
• Adhere to state and local serving guidelines where applicable.

This is a nonexempt (hourly) role. The budgeted rate for this role is $16.90 per hour. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based on factors including experience and education.

• Must have previous experience working at a full-service bar.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, fine dining restaurant/bar setting is preferred.
• Thursday – Sunday evening availability is a must; open availability is preferred.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight and the ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
