Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation and coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders as directed;
Conduct regular and random patrols of corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other unwanted activity;
Monitor access points and visitor flow, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as required, and assist with way finding and site rules communication;
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in daily reports, and promptly communicate security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts
