Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as required;
Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations;
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public spaces, assisting with visitor management, direction giving, and/or de-escalation of disruptive behavior when needed;
Complete required reports, shift logs, and handoffs, communicating observations and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate parties
