Lead HVAC Install Technician

Timos is seeking a Lead HVAC Install Technician to support climate control systems for our transportation and warehousing operations. You will lead small install crews, plan and execute installation of HVAC systems in fleet facilities and logistics hubs, ensuring safe, code-compliant work. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, sizing and routing ductwork and refrigerant lines, start-up, testing, and system commissioning. You will coordinate with operations to minimize downtime, maintain accurate documentation, train junior techs, and collaborate with vendors to resolve complex issues in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC installation projects in logistics facilities and warehouses
• Interpret plans, blueprints, and technical specifications for installs
• Install and route ductwork, piping, and refrigerant lines to code
• Perform system startup, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes
• Coordinate scheduling with operations to limit downtime
• Train and mentor junior technicians and installers
• Maintain accurate installation and service documentation
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to resolve technical issues
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability and installation practices
