Aircrew Visual Media - Level 2
What You Will Be DoingAs an Aircrew Visual Media professional, you will combine creative storytelling and technical expertise to capture compelling photographic, video, and multimedia content in support of high-performance aircraft operations. Working closely with flight test teams, engineers, and aircrew, you will document aircraft performance, test activities, and operational capabilities for both internal and external audiences. This role offers a unique opportunity to operate in an aviation-focused, safety-critical environment, where your work directly supports flight test documentation, program compliance, and visual communications.
Key Responsibilities- Researching, preparing, and producing audiovisual content (Photo, video, and graphics) in support of Flight Test documentation in both an aerial and ground based capacity.
- Provides aerial and ground photo/video support for engineering, customer support, training and marketing/Public Affairs teams.
- Additional responsibilities include consulting with flight test engineers and flight test crew to determine appropriate support required for specific flight test events.
- Post production often requires quick turnaround delivery on test event results, but in some case may require production of long lead pieces with determination of concept, theme, and budget based on client interface.
- Must have a detailed working knowledge of video editing software and equipment and experience with several types of professional video formats to include XDCAM, XAVC, REDCODE and DSLR video. Must have experience with Nikon or Canon professional still photographic equipment and required to have an in-depth knowledge of camera software applications/workflows.
- The candidate will be required to provide a demo reel of video and still photographic professional work.
- Applicant needs to be creative, have good communication skills (written and oral), and work effectively with team members and customers.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position will also require aerial documentation of both photo and video from high performance military aircraft.
- Passing of FAA Class 2 medical certification, Air Force Aircrew survival training (water, land, centrifuge, altitude chamber) for high performance aircraft and will be required as a condition of employment.
- Some international travel may be required.

- Experience with editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and working within a file based environment, video documentation skills, still photography utilizing professional camera equipment and Camera RAW processing workflows (Photoshop and Bridge).
- Experience with industry standards video formats.
- Experience with video production camera documentation, lighting, and audio application skills.
- Experience with photography skills such as DSLR, Mirrorless.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance, per business requirements
- Advanced editing in Adobe Premiere
- Video experience with a RED camera a plus.
- Creating high quality graphics and graphic design.
- Aerial photo/video skills a plus in addition to experience in a flight test environment or experience working with any military branch, specifically Air Force.
