Position: Site Coordinator- Mojave Unified School District 2025-2026 School Year
POSITION:
Site Coordinator (Part-time, Seasonal, 20-30 hours/week)

Serving schools within Mojave Unified School District. MUSD programs typically operate within the hours of 1:30pm - 6:00pm M-F, with occasional minimum days (start time as early as 11:30am on Fridays) and extended hours for site preparation, trainings, meetings, etc. Work schedules, start times, and total daily or weekly hours may vary based on student attendance, site coverage needs, and operational requirements.

Scheduled hours are not guaranteed and may be adjusted or reduced as program needs change.

HOURLY PAY: $21.75 (may vary based on qualifications/availability)

Various School Sites Within Mojave Unified School District (Includes California City)

July 22, 2025 to June 5, 2026

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Directly responsible for the delivery and quality of outcome based programs and activities at a specific Club site. Provides mentorship and engages youth members in activities and programs, which enables them to develop self-confidence and reach their full potential as productive, responsible, caring citizens. Directs the planning, implementation and tracking of National Club Programs and Grant Funded Programs that will leave a positive impact on youth members, while maintaining a positive, safe environment and atmosphere at all times.

KEY ROLES (Essential

Job Responsibilities ):

* Plan and oversee the implementation of designated Site programs and activities that support Youth Development Outcomes.

* Establish and maintain Site program goals and settings that insure the health and safety of members.

* Ensure that Site staff understand and effectively communicate standards of program; that they ensure program areas are safe and that School and Site equipment is maintained in good working condition.

* Ensure the evaluation of Site programs on a continual basis and ensures programs/activities respond to member needs and address their gender and cultural diversity.

* Allocate and monitor work assigned to program volunteers and staff, providing ongoing feedback and regular appraisal. Identify and support training and development opportunities for assigned volunteers and staff.

* Oversee all Site record keeping and grant reporting and compliance including activities and events conducted, breakdowns of daily participation figures, notable achievements and any problems/issues and maintain a 20:1 member/staff ratio at all times.

* Ensure productive and effective performance by all program staff and volunteers.

* Increase visibility of Site programs via posting of daily schedule, announcements of upcoming events and the dissemination of timely information for the development of advertising and promotion through mailings, fliers and media releases.

* Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with parents, members, school and staff.

* Facilitate Grant Required Activities and National Program activities in the following areas:

* Provide recognition to members through positive validations, healthy incentives, and affirmation on a regular basis.

* Team building mentality is exemplified in all work done.

* Positively influence and uplift members and other affiliates.

* Ensure productive and effective performance by all program staff and volunteers.

2. Manage & Develop Resources

* Monthly program planning is required to ensure preparation and successful programs and activities.

* Attend and participate in Staff Training's, which is essential to professional development.

* Follow all policies and procedures at all times, including the Club's Code of Conduct, which can be found in the Employee Handbook.

* Maintain case management files and other grant related paperwork and submit in a timely manner.

* Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Club site, with high regard for school property.
