Instructional Aide – Per Diem Opportunities in Palmdale, CA

Key Responsibilities:- Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
- Provide individualized or small-group assistance as directed by teachers and support staff
- Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and participation in classroom activities
- Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
- Support student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to complete TB test as required by school policies
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
- Clearances must be current or obtained prior to starting the position
- Background working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Training such as CPI, PMT, or RBT is beneficial, though not required
- Reliable, patient, and collaborative team member
